Dr. Jigar Shah, MD

Jigar Shah, MD was born and raised in South Florida. He received his Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Miami, subsequently attended St. George’s University Medical School and completed both his Residency training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology Fellowship at SUNY Downstate University Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He has accomplished a number of achievements in a short amount of time such as being the Medical Honoree for the Walk to Cure for Arthritis. He is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology as well as the Florida Society of Rheumatology.

Dr. Shah is double board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Shah has expansive research experience that gives him the knowledge to offer a myriad of treatment options as he endeavors to improve patients’ quality of life. He remains on the forefront of Rheumatology, working as a Principal Investigator (PI) and Sub-Investigator (SI) for clinical trials in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Diffuse Cutaneous Systemic Sclerosis, Sjogren Syndrome, among others.
